The Dr. Mangalam Swaminathan Foundation is a pursuit in promoting excellence in various facets of Indian life and realising the dreams of Dr. Mangalam Swaminathan in the field of Journalism, Art and Culture, Literature, Creative Work and Social activities. As part of this Foundation is giving five national level awards of Rs. 1 lakh each with a memento and citations every year on November 29th, the Birth Anniversary of Dr. Mangalam. This year’s award which is the fourth in the series will be presented on November 29th, 2022 the 58th birth anniversary of Dr. Mangalam at a grand function in New Delhi.

The fields in which awards are being given are:

1. Excellence in journalism.

2. Excellence in Science Reporting.

3. Excellence and Creativity in Arts & Culture.

4. Excellence in Medical Malpractice Investigation.

5. Excellence in innovative social work, to promote ideal, harmonious family culture.

We are inviting nominations and personal applications from eligible candidates for each of these awards. The last date for receiving the nominations/applications for these awards is September 30th, 2022.

An expert committee of eminent personalities will examine these nominations and applications in each category and the awards will be announced latest by the second week of October 2022. The awards will be presented on November 29th, 2022.
